Funding Youth Excellence in Football and Cheer Competition.
As the fundraising arm of Edgewater Pop Warner, The Eagle Pop Warner Booster Club is responsible for engaging parents, business leaders, local governments, fans, alumni and other supporters of youth athletics in order to generate financial contributions for the purpose of enriching the overall athletic experience for over 150 student-athletes participating in youth (ages 5 – 14) football and cheer.
Eagle Pop Warner Booster Club is comprised of loyal and generous donors dedicated to enhancing the student-athlete experience in support of the Edgewater mission to learn the game of football and the sport of cheer, and to teach them how to be better members of our community. We support the objective of at-risk youth crime prevention by focusing on these young athletes’ character first, education next and building self-worth and community connection.
By becoming a contributor, or by maintaining your contribution in support of Edgewater Pop Warner, you help support one of the most visible and successful programs in Central Florida. Contributions made to Eagle Pop Warner Boosters provide the financial framework that makes winning possible through participation scholarships, safety equipment purchase, academic and medical services, facilities, and championship caliber coaches.
WHAT WE DO
Edgewater Pop Warner is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit football and cheer organization serving the youth living in the Edgewater High School zone, Orlando, Florida. The families served include College Park and the economically challenged areas of Eatonville, Pine Hills, Lockhart, and Rosemont.
Every year, Edgewater Pop Warner must raise over $50,0000 to operate the youth football and cheer organization. The annual financial challenge is to make sure that every child who wants to participate has the opportunity regardless of financial situation. We don’t want to turn a child away due to insufficient funds. However, over half of our athletes cannot afford our $225 registration fee. We hold fundraisers, such as car washes and park clean-ups, during the off season. We encourage all our athletes to participate and help raise money for our scholarships program. These events are exciting because they bring our youth together outside of the athletic field and provide our community an opportunity to work together, build unity, and have fun.
The Eagle Pop Warner Boosters was formed as a support organization to assists with annual funding for the children. Please join our annual giving drive or become a sponsor of a specific need.
